Fairway are proud to have supported team Jersey at the Touch Rugby World Cup 2024.

Fairway are proud to have sponsored Jersey through the Touch Rugby World Cup 2024. Taking place in Nottingham this year, the World Cup brought the best touch rugby players from around the globe to decide who was World Champion.

Last week, Jersey’s Mixed Open team and Men’s Over 45s team competed in the Touch World Cup, a long-standing aspiration for the Jersey squads. The tournament brought together 190 teams representing 40+ nations from every continent, the largest ever tournament to date.

The teams played superbly, both securing a spot in the final play-off stage. However, despite their efforts in the elimination rounds, they could not find the desired outcome in their final games.

We are delighted to have supported Fairway's Peter Culnane, Director and Head of Pensions, whilst he played for the Over 45s Jersey team. Well done to both squads for their excellent performance!
