Life at Fairway with Stacey Gallery, Funds Manager

Stacey is a Manager in our Funds team and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fund administration and managing client relationships. Get to know Stacey a bit better!

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I love growing and shaping the team. Watching people learn, share ideas, collaborate, and support each other is truly inspiring. Seeing their progress and confidence grow makes my role incredibly fulfilling.
 
Do you have any office must-haves that help you stay focused or productive?
My day starts with my go-to latte (oat milk & vanilla—hot in winter, iced in summer). It's my little ritual that sets the tone for a productive morning and gives me a moment to reset before diving into work.
 
What do you enjoy doing outside of work that helps you unwind or feel recharged?
I’m a huge fan of walking—probably a little too much! Whether solo or with friends, I love being outdoors and appreciate the mental clarity that walking brings. This year, I’m completing my third island walk!
 
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to enter the Fund Services field?
Working in Fund Services is undoubtedly challenging, but the rewards, both professional and personal, make the effort worthwhile. My role demands continuous learning, adaptability, and commitment, but overcoming these challenges leads to great satisfaction and career growth. 
Push yourself to expand your knowledge, and embrace every opportunity. Most importantly, enjoy the journey and take pride in the progress you make along the way! 
 
If you could switch roles with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
Chris Mourant, our Associate Director of Client Solutions. I love the human aspect of business development—talking to people, brainstorming ideas, and finding creative solutions. Spending a day in Chris’ role would be an exciting opportunity to see things from his perspective and tap into his expertise.
