Fairway announces four promotions and appoints Paul Sewell as Head of Business Risk and Commercial Strategy

Fairway is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Sewell as Head of Business Risk and Commercial Strategy. Paul will work closely with senior management to identify, plan, and oversee strategic initiatives and projects that are critical to the firm's success and growth.

Paul, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry, will be responsible for providing input into the strategic management of commercial and technical developments to identify, assess, and manage business risks, while driving commercial initiatives that align with regulatory requirements and market opportunities. Through proactive risk management and innovative commercial strategies, Paul’s role will enhance Fairway’s competitiveness and deliver value to stakeholders.

“Safeguarding Fairway’s reputation and client trust, while ensuring compliance with Jersey's regulatory framework, will be core responsibilities of my new role, which I’m very much looking forward to,” said Paul. “I’ll be working closely with the compliance team, while also providing subject matter expertise and internal consultancy on complex client structures. I will also contribute to the development of Fairway’s governance services, create a compliance effectiveness review strategy and support Fairway’s international growth strategy.
