Key Features of a JPF
- Suitable for structures with 50 or less investors (including offers).
- Can only be invested in by ‘professional investors’ or ‘eligible investors’ who have acknowledged in writing receipt and acceptance of an investment warning and disclosure statement.
- An individual or entity investing or committing to invest more than GBP 250k will qualify as a professional or eligible investor.
- No requirement to appoint an auditor.
- Can be an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) in which Jersey’s Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) legislation and code of practice for AIFs and AIF services business will apply.
